Hi! My name is Christina and my major is Early Childhood Education but I also have a heart for missions so I would like to teach overseas. For fun, I like to read mostly theology books at the moment and hang out with my family and friends. I’m also a bit of a true crime junkie so tv shows, books, documentaries, podcasts you name it, I’ll watch it.
I’m also not from Texas, I moved here when I was 17 from California so I know their government works but I don’t know enough about Texas government if I’m going to be here a little longer. the only thing I remember from my high school government class is that the Texas government is a unitary government(I’m not sure of that). But I’m looking forward to knowing how Texas government works and to get some insight on it!
Hello. My name is Maria Llavaneras and I’m 18 years old. My major is Early Childhood Education. I just graduated from Trinity High School and I plan to major in political science. Currently, I do not know where I would like to transfer to, however I do know that I want to stay in Texas. I moved to Texas from Venezuela in 2010, so the topic of immigration is very important to me.
Since I am an immigrant, I would like to know why for so many years, immigration has been pinned a threat or just flat out a bad thing for the residents of Texas? Secondly, is probable for the next election (2024) for Texas to turn into a blue state? I don’t remember much from the last time I took Texas History, but I do know Greg Abbott is our governor.
